Gypsum mixtures for high-precision casting are used for the manufacture of molds in the production of metal parts in the aircraft industry, mechanical engineering, as well as in the jewelry industry.

when casting low-melting alloys (not higher than 200-320 C) for the manufacture of injection molds, the use of "pure" gypsum is possible. When casting alloys with a higher melting point (up to 1100 C), gypsum molding mixtures are used, in which high-strength gypsum (25-40%) is used as a binder of refractory fillers. Thus, the molding mixture for high-precision casting is a mixture of high-strength gypsum, refractory filler and special additives.
