- Weigh out the required amount of distilled or demineralized water and gypsum powder at the ratio of 30 ml of liquid per every 100 grams of gypsum powder. It is allowed to adjust the amount of water , increasing or decreasing it by up to 1.5 ml, which will make it possible to control the expansion and working time.
- Add the powder to the water and mix by hand with a trowel for 30-60 seconds until smooth and homogeneous. It is important not to exceed the specified time, otherwise the consistency of the mixture changes, and its adhesive properties deteriorate.
- It is recommended to mix the gypsum mixture for no more than two or three models.
- When processing the finished model, personal protective equipment should be used: gloves, goggles and a mask.
- Distilled (demineralized) water and powder should be at a temperature of 20±2°C.
- The instruments and accessories used when working with gypsum plaster should be clean and free of residue of previously used plaster.
- No components should be added as setting accelerators or retarders.
- It is important to maintain the ratio of powder to water to achieve the desired expansion and strength of the plaster.
- Gypsum plaster should be stored at room temperature in a dry place and in a sealed package, as the product cannot withstand high humidity.
