The Stroymaster-2014 competition in the Best Plasterer category has come to an end
On August 4-6, the National stage of the All-Russian competition of builders "Stroymaster-2014" was held in the category "Best plasterer". The competition is held on the basis of the Knauf training center in Krasnogorsk. The national stage was attended by the winners of the regional stages of the competition from 9 cities of Russia: St. Petersburg, Orel, Domodedovo, Vologda, Bryansk, Stavropol, Chelyabinsk, Khabarovsk and Yakutsk.
The opening of the competition was held at the Knauf training center in Krasnogorsk and was accompanied by welcoming speeches from representatives of construction associations and trade unions. All of them noted the high level of training of the contest participants and the importance of such events for the industry. Just as in previous years, the competition included training on the use of modern building materials, including plaster mixes, both gypsum and cement, lectures on new construction technologies and materials, and a Knauf master class on the use of Rotband plaster mix. The training ended with a verification test.
The next stage was the practical part of the competition, which involves completing tasks at the workplace. The practical stage lasted two days: participants had to plaster two walls (5.4 square meters) of gas-silicate blocks that make up the corner. The organizers-manufacturers provided their materials and workwear to the participants, and a competent jury of specialists from the construction industry determined the winner. All factors were taken into account in the assessment: compliance with the application technology, compliance with safety regulations, workplace culture and, first of all, the final quality of the plastered surface. On each of the two days, only 2.5 hours were allotted for work, and all participants completed it ahead of schedule. All the works were performed efficiently, and the jury had to take into account every detail in order to identify the best one.
The first place was taken by Vadim N. Sherskov (CJSC Mosoblstroytrest No. 11) from the Central Federal District, the second — Nikolay N. Tsukanov (LLC PMK Stavropol) from the North Caucasus District, the third-Vladislav V. Sakhanov (LLC Alyustem Stroy) from St. Petersburg. The winners received valuable gifts and honorary titles. The award ceremony was timed to coincide with the international industry exhibition "Construction Week of the Moscow Region" at the Crocus Expo exhibition center in a solemn atmosphere.
