VIII Foundry Consultation

Samara Gypsum Plant is preparing to produce new products – molding masses for high-precision casting of metals and alloys, aimed at jewelry manufacturers. A formula for molding compounds is also being developed for manufacturers of parts for the aerospace, automotive and machine-building industries.

In order to better understand the current situation in this industry, its problems and development prospects, SGC specialists visited the Foundry Consultation held in Chelyabinsk on December 4-5, 2014. The eighth consultation this year was devoted to the topic " Casting mold. Perfection of form is the way to success." The main issues raised at the event were related to casting equipment, consumables and controls. Special attention was also paid to the problem of developing and manufacturing model equipment. New products for high-precision casting produced by the Samara Gypsum Combine are aimed at solving this problem-facilitating and optimizing the mold manufacturing process.
