In January 2013, the growth rate of housing construction in Russia was 16%

The Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation reports that in the first month of 2013, 3.6 million m2 of housing was built in Russia, which is 16% more than in January last year. The total amount of work was 259 billion rubles, which is also higher than last year — by 1.4%. It is worth recalling that the growth rate of construction in 2012 was 4.7%. Thus, the construction industry in Russia continues to develop, the quality and accessibility of housing for the population is growing, and the construction business continues to be one of the most promising for entrepreneurship.
