A low-rise construction program will start operating in Samara next year

The result of an extraordinary meeting of the provincial government, held on May 7, was the news that from 2014 Samara will fall into the regional program "Resettlement of citizens from emergency housing stock, taking into account the need for the development of low-rise housing construction in the Samara region" for 2013-2015". The program provides for the construction of houses up to three floors. To enter the program, municipal services must equip 75% of residential buildings with household metering devices — the Samara authorities are confident of achieving this indicator by the required time. The main purpose of participation in the program is to relocate citizens from premises recognized as non-residential (there are 4709 of them, 11218 people live in them).
