Trophy Raid 2014

Last weekend, on May 17-18, the second stage of the 2014 Samara Region Trophy Raid Championship was held. SEASONAL AGGRAVATION: BERIBERI.

The organizers made a difficult route that passes through forests and swamps, ravines and hills of the Bor district. More than 80 crews in all-wheel-drive vehicles of varying degrees of off-road readiness accepted the challenge, but not all of them reached the finish line. But despite the fact that it was still a competition, there was also a place for mutual assistance on the track – not a single car was left stuck in the mud.

The race lasted 24 hours, and during its entire duration, participants had to apply not only all their experience, but also show resourcefulness and skills of orientation on the terrain. At the same time, a hearty field kitchen from the Bor district administration and incendiary dances were waiting for everyone in the camp.

As a result, the three best crews in each category were awarded valuable prizes and memorable cups. Traditionally, one of the partners who provided prizes for the championship was the FORMAN trademark. It is not the first year that the Samara Gypsum Plant has been supporting the Legion 4x4 Jeep Club, which is an organizer of trophy raid championships, because it unites active people who defy the elements, overcome the most difficult obstacles and emerge victorious from seemingly hopeless situations.
