FORMAN dry mixes – 14th place in Russia!
Last month, the experts of Stroitelnaya Informatsiya presented to the professional community a report on the development of the dry building mixes market in 2014.
According to the report, despite the difficult economic situation, the growth rate of gypsum dry building mixes in Russia was about 11% (while the production of cement-based mixes increased by only 4% compared to 2013). Today, about 110 companies produce gypsum mixes in Russia. All of them demonstrated different dynamics of development in the past year. One of the producers that showed the highest growth was the Samara Gypsum Plant: the plant entered the top five, and in some positions - in the top three leaders in this indicator. SGK produces a whole range of gypsum-based products, specializing in the production of high-strength gypsum for more than 70 years, and in recent years has successfully developed gypsum-based products for the market of sanitary products, manufacturers of CCC, oilfield services and art decor. The company's productivity increased by 17% compared to 2013, which in physical terms amounted to over 90 thousand tons. The plant increased its capacity, and at the end of the year became one of the 14 largest producers of dry building mixes under the FORMAN brand in Russia (in 2013, the company was in the top 15).
SGC CJSC consolidated and strengthened its market position in the Volga region, where FORMAN's market share in 2014 was 5.3%. The market share in the Russian Federation, according to the results of the study, over the past year increased by 10% and amounted to 1.1%. From the point of view of geographical coverage, TM FORMAN products are already represented in 38 regions of Russia, confidently expanding its sales network. The plant supplied the Olympic construction site, and SGK products were used in the restoration of the Moscow Kremlin. Shipments to Crimea have recently started.
According to experts, FORMAN holds the lead in sales of gypsum SSS in the Samara region (market share in 2014 - 27.1%). Marketing research conducted by experts of the agency "MAKBI" in the past year, indicate the strengthening of the long-term position of the brand, which was confirmed by the results of a survey conducted among residents of the provincial capital in the points of sale of construction materials. To the question "What brands of dry building mixes do you know?" 30% of respondents first named TM FORMAN, while 87% know FORMAN mixes. 48% of respondents consider TM FORMAN's products to be the best among all those presented on the market. According to this indicator, FORMAN ranks first in the rating, far ahead of even such well-known brands as Knauf and Vetonit. Of those who have already had experience using plasters, putties and adhesives of the Samara brand, 95% already recommend FORMAN to their friends and acquaintances.
According to Sergey Kildyushev, Sales and Marketing Director of SGK CJSC, the high dynamics of the company's development is largely due to both the introduction of new products to the market and the very essence of the FORMAN product line.
