The competition "Best Plasterer-2014"was held

The seventh contest of professional skills "Best Plasterer-2014" was held on March 26 and 27 in St. Petersburg. The competition was attended by 12 professionals and 9 students of professional educational institutions.

The participants of the competition were faced with the task of plastering the column with gypsum plaster. It is noteworthy that both students and workers performed this task under the same conditions and taking into account the same requirements. The difficulty was to comply with the technology of using the brand of gypsum plaster "KNAUF-Goldband".

"Everyone coped with the task, but the leaders were noticeable from the first minutes of the competition," says German Smirnov, a specialist at the KNAUF North – West training center. - Students were not inferior to professionals. They have already developed the skills of plasterers, and this allows them to compete with the masters."

Based on the results of practical and theoretical tasks, the competition jury identified the winners in two categories:" Best plasterer "among professionals and" Best student in the specialty plasterer " among students of lyceums and colleges in St. Petersburg and other cities of the North-West region.

Vladislav Sakhanov, master of the site of Alyustem Stroy LLC, became the best plasterer of St. Petersburg in 2014. The second place was taken by Vladimir Vasyanovich, a plasterer at UIT Saint Petersburg CJSC, and the third place was taken by Valentin Bobrov, a plasterer of the 5th category of the SU No. 315 Branch of FSUE GUSST No. 3 under the Special Construction Agency of Russia. Among the students, the winner was Olga Chepurnenko, a first-year student of the Metrostroy College. The second place among students was taken by Andrey Shvetsov, a second-year student of the College of Construction Industry and Urban Economy, the third place was shared by Ekaterina Orlova, a first-year student of the Metrostroy College, and Mikhail Efimov, a second-year student of the PETROSTROYSERVICE College.

The winners were solemnly honored in the Palace of Labor. The awards were presented by Oleg Ostrovsky, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Construction Committee, Vladimir Derbin, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Georgy Para, Chairman of the Trade Union of Construction Workers and the Construction Materials Industry of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Alexey Belousov, Coordinator of NOSTROY in St. Petersburg, General Director of NP "Association of Builders of St. Petersburg".

It should be noted that the winners and prize-winners of the city competition will be nominated as nominees of the All-Russian stage of the National Competition of Russian builders "Stroymaster".
