Back in the FOLD. Another workshop.

Samara Gypsum Plant held a seminar and a master class at SSASU. This time, the emphasis was placed on a variety of options for making ready-made decorative stone and decorative elements:

• A stone without pigment,
• Stone coloring in bulk
• A stone with an aging effect.

The production engineer demonstrated ease of useSmart gypsum for the production of decorative stone and the ability to get a huge number of options and collections of decorative stone. Smart gypsum is sealed with water, creating a fluid mixture that fills in all the smallest details and completely reproduces the relief of the stone. Filling can be made in silicone and polyurethane molds.

At the seminar, the invited designer presented his works from gypsum – based materials-bas-reliefs. They demonstrated their works and talked about the manufacturing technique.

Students will be able to apply their knowledge in practice! The seminar was interesting, useful and of course memorable, not only for the students, but also for us.
