SGK prepares for new production records

January is not only a time of holidays and fun, but also the starting point of the new working year – the beginning of the implementation of the strategy, the execution of plans for the next 12 months. The construction season will start very soon, during which our customers will need significant volumes of gypsum binders. Now the Samara Gypsum Plant is in full swing preparing equipment: autoclaves, drying drums, conveyors and augers are being revised. The grinding bodies that determine the fineness of gypsum grinding are checked.

In parallel with the planned preventive maintenance, technical improvement works are being carried out:

• a magnet is being installed, with the help of which we plan to finally remove metal impurities from finished products,
• a system is installed for removing excess heat from the compressors to the section for drying pazogrebnevyh plates. Thermal energy, which was previously not used, will now reduce the cost of burning natural gas.

The result of all the works currently being carried out at SGK will be uninterrupted production and shipment of products with consistently high characteristics to customers, including during periods of peak demand for gypsum binders.
