Gypsum world news

Employees of gypsum mines in Pakistan have demanded full compensation for relatives of their colleagues who died while working in the gypsum mines of Karak district. According to the miners, several workers have died recently at various fields in the district, and their relatives have not received the necessary compensation from the local authorities responsible for this. In addition, the mine owners did not provide employees with equipment that ensures their safety. Demanding full compensation and better working conditions, the workers are threatening to stage a sit-in outside the Kohat city administration and continue until the demands are met.
