Sports complex project at the Samara hippodrome

In Samara, the results of the competition for the design of a new sports complex on the territory of the former racetrack, in the Industrial District, were summed up.

Three companies competed for the large-scale project. "Volgoenergoprom Stroyproekt" estimated the development of the project in the amount of 8.7 million rubles, "Interstroy — - 10.3 million rubles," Electroshield-Stroyindustria " - 12.8 million rubles. The maximum contract price announced by the contest organizers was 15.9 million rubles. The Commission considered the proposals and considered it necessary to give the development of the project to the company "Electroshield-Stroyindustria". Volgoenergoprom Stroyproekt took the second place.

The customer for the design and construction of the sports complex is the Regional Ministry of Construction.

The physical culture and sports complex will be built on a plot of 1.2 hectares. The building will be two-storeyed. On the ground floor there will be halls with an eight-lane 25-meter swimming pool with a children's splash bath (6x10 meters), an ice arena (30x60 meters) and bleachers for at least 200 seats. On the second floor there will be viewing rooms for the ice arena and swimming pool, gyms and fitness rooms (each with an area of at least 200 square meters).
