An order on the introduction of GOST "Dry construction mixtures. Classification"
A new significant step in the standardization of the CCC market: on April 13, 2015, an order was signed to introduce an interstate standard for the classification of dry building mixes. According to the order, the standard will be put into effect from October 1, 2015 "for voluntary use in the Russian Federation as the national standard of the Russian Federation GOST 31189-2015" Dry construction mixtures. Classification", which is adopted to replace GOST 31189-2003". The standard will be assigned to the Office of Technical Regulation and Standardization.
The standard was developed by the non-profit partnership "Union of CCC Manufacturers" together with specialists from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MSU) and the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPsUACE). The standard was adopted with the participation of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification: Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan, Belarus voted for its introduction.
The standard applies to SSS used in the construction, reconstruction and repair of buildings and structures, and establishes their classification. Dry building mixes will be officially classified according to the conditions of use, the largest grain size of aggregate, the type of binder, the functional purpose and the method of application. The standard introduces precise official definitions of many industry terms: dry building mix, mortar mix, water-solid ratio, mineral binders, polymer binders, mixed binders, aggregates, modifying additives, substrate, screed, interlayer, and others.
