More than 13 billion rubles will be spent on the construction of the stadium for the 2018 World Cup

Samara will build a stadium for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the total cost of which will be 13.159 billion rubles, the press service of the regional government said.

The article clarifies that on January 10 of this year, the Regional Ministry of Construction received two positive conclusions on the results of engineering surveys, as well as on the design and estimate documentation of the Samara stadium for the 2018 World Cup.

The total construction area will be 153,200 square meters. A land plot of 27 hectares has been allocated for construction. 13 billion 159 million 383 thousand 71 rubles will be allocated for the project implementation.

In November last year, the regional government approved the state program "Preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup", which will be financed by 56 billion 866.7 million rubles, including 1 billion 699.4 million rubles from the local budget, 26 billion 823.4 million rubles from the regional budget, 17 billion 595.9 million rubles from the federal budget.
