Analysts have prepared an overview of the Russian market of dry building mixes

The Stroitelnaya Informatsiya marketing agency has completed a comprehensive study of the dry building mixes market in Russia for the period from 2008 to 2012. The review covers both domestic production and CCC imports.

The study provides indicators of the volume of production in the industry as a whole (natural and cost), production indicators of the twenty largest Russian enterprises, information on the structure of production of mixtures for various purposes (plasters, putties, adhesives, etc.) and for various binders (gypsum, cement, lime, polymers). We present not only accurate data for the period under review, but also the expected dynamics for 2013-2015.

Information on the import of dry building mixes to Russia presented in the report includes import volumes, distribution of imports by supplier countries, trademarks, types of mixes by purpose and composition, analysis of import dynamics and, also, forecast for 2013-2015.

An important part of the study was an assessment of the volume of consumption of dry building mixes in Russia, which allows us to determine the total market capacity. CCC consumption is considered in physical and cost terms, with a distribution by region and market share of the largest producers.

The report also presents average retail prices for CVS in 2012, cost estimates of the entire market and individual product groups.

The source of information for the study was surveys of major dealers, interviews with manufacturers and importers, independent expert assessments, as well as data from Rosstat and the Federal Customs Service.
