71st All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference

In early April, Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering hosted the 71st All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Traditions and Innovations in Construction and Architecture". According to the rector M. I. Balzannikov, who has been the head of SSASU for more than 10 years, the main topic of the conference was the results of scientific activities of teachers, as well as postgraduates and students of the university over the past year.

The plenary session was attended by more than 300 people, including representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the Samara region, delegates from 13 Russian universities, as well as representatives of 11 large industrial enterprises. Among them was the Samara Gypsum Plant, which has been a reliable and successful partnership with SSASU for many years, and graduates of the university have established themselves in production as competent specialists capable of solving complex and non-standard tasks.

Deputy Minister of Construction of the Samara Region, Head of the Department of Territorial Planning and Urban Development A. I. Barannikov delivered an official greeting to the conference participants on behalf of the Minister. Presentations were made by the Vice-rector of SSASU N. G. Chumachenko and Professor, Head of the Department of Design of SSASU T. V. Karakova. CJSC SGK was represented at the meeting by E. A. Klestova, Strategic Marketing Manager.
