World Environment Day or Ecologist's Day is celebrated on June 5 in almost all European countries, including Russia. For thousands of years, people have used natural resources without thinking that they might run out. It was only at the turn of the 20th century that humanity began to realize the consequences of its negative impact on nature and faced the possibility of man-made disasters, depletion of biological diversity of resources, etc. Today, the need to create an ecological culture and conduct environmental education for the future generation is becoming obvious.

SOIKM named after P. V. Alabin together with the Association" Versivo "presented an environmental project represented by CJSC" Samara Gypsum Plant "and"Samara Stroyfarfor".

The ecological game-journey to the museum is an effective form of work in the field of non-formal environmental education. The "Ecological Workshop" is designed for children of primary and secondary school age and aims to introduce them to some natural laws, develop a keen interest in nature in children, and form a responsible attitude to its protection.

During the travel game, "young ecologists" were given the opportunity to draw posters in defense of the environment, watch environmental cartoons, solve riddles about nature and compose new ones. In addition, all participants were able to create sketches for the design of natural-themed tiles with their own hands. To do this, the children drew animals on specially prepared gypsum tiles. It turned out very kind and beautiful!

At the end of the "Ecological Workshop", the students "voted" for the need to protect the environment at a special stand, putting their" signature " - a handprint.
