It is used for interior and exterior works during wall and floor facing in residential, administrative and industrial premises:

For facing of heated surfaces:

• stoves and fireplaces (up to +120°C). 

Also suitable for spot bonding of insulating materials such as expanded polystyrene foam and mineral wool, cement-bonded particle board, sound insulation panels, etc.

It is used on non-deformable and deformable rigid bases: 

• sand-cement bonding plaster

• lime-cement and gypsum bonding plasters

• cement mortar screeds

• precast and cast-in-place concrete (with an age of at least 60 days.)

• cellular concrete

• gas silicate blocks

• TGPB (tongue-and-groove partition blocks), GWB (gypsum wall boards), GFS (gypsum-fiber sheets), OSB (oriented strand boards), CBPB (cement-bonded particle board)

• old strong facing coatings 

• painted surfaces, provided that the paint has a strong adhesion to the base. 

The base should be:

• dry

• solid

• free from dust, dirt, oils, paint, residue of chalk and lime mortars. 

Cement bases should not be liable to shrinkage after the mounting of the facing material, thus the plaster should be cured for at least 7 days per 1 cm of thickness, and cement-based screeds should be cured for at least 28 days. 

Bases that have been heated by the direct sunlight need to be moistened with water to cool them down. 

To increase the strength of adhesion of the material to the base, it is necessary to treat the surface with one or two layers of a deep penetration primer, while uneven and highly absorbent bases should be covered in several layers. 

Dust pollution of primed surfaces should be prevented. Facing is carried out only after the primed base is completely dried through. 

In the room where the works are carried out, draughts and direct sunlight should be avoided. Gypsum bases should be completely dry (with maximum residual moisture content of 0.5%), sufficiently solid, and dust-free.

To prepare the mortar, only clean containers, tools and water should be used. 

It is forbidden to introduce any additional components to the prepared mortar. 

To prepare the mortar, pour the contents of the bag into a container with clean water (0.19-0.23 L per 1 kg of dry mix) and stir for 2-4 minutes until smooth. 

Let the mortar settle for 5 minutes and stir it again. 

Stirring is performed mechanically using a professional mixer or an electric drill with a mixing paddle. 

Manual mixing is allowed when the weight of mix to be added to water does not exceed 1 kg. 

The adhesive mixture is applied to the base using a notched trowel with tooth size not less than 8 mm. 

The trowel should be selected in such a way so that, for interior walls and floors with light load, 65-70% of the back side of the tile could be covered with adhesive, and for surfaces with heavy load or when laying the tiles outdoors, 100% of the tile could be covered.

To ensure high adhesion, a thin layer is first applied to the base with the smooth side of the trowel. 

Immediately after this, a layer with the required thickness is applied using an appropriate notched trowel, depending on the type and size of the tile. 

For exterior floor and wall cladding, the adhesive is applied to both the base and the back side of the cladding material (double application) to ensure its installation without hollows.

If the back side of the cladding material is thickly covered with dust, it is recommended to moisten this side with water. 

For best adhesion, the facing material needs to be installed with some pressure applied. 

Under normal temperatureand humidity conditions, the open time is about 25 minutes. 

Unfavorable weather conditions

• bright sunlight

• dry wind

• high temperature, etc.

• or a highly absorbent base

During the first 24 hours, it is forbidden to wash the installed cladding material or leave it in the rain, and it is also necessary to protect it from freezing and bright sunlight for 7 days. 

The position of the tiles can be adjusted within the first 20 minutes.

Tile grout is applied after 24 hours

when facing floors (with a 6x6 mm trowel), after 8 hours when facing walls (with a 3x3 mm trowel). 

When facing floors (with a 6x6 mm trowel), walking on tiles is possible 24 hours after laying. 

Underfloor heating can be used not earlier than 28 days after cladding. There must be no hollows in the adhesive layer under the tiles. Expansion joints must be filled with appropriate sealants. For spot bonding of sound-proof or heat-insulating panels, the adhesive mixture should be applied in single spots or with a trowel.

If there is a strong dustiness on the back side of the facing material , it is recommended to moisten this side. 

For the best adhesion, the lining material must be laid with pressure.
